BladeTech Skate Blades

BladeTech Skate Blades are revolutionizing the replacement skate blade industry. Developed in Canada by University of Waterloo Engineering student Jaff Azzolin, BladeTech blades utilize patented Flex Force Advantage to enhance speed, agility, and reduce fatigue.

In Force Flex, the front third of the skate blade flexes and creates a whip effect which releases vertical energy back into each stride - energy that is usually lost. Testing shows 25% increase in force per stride and and average of 5.5% increase in speed.

An added benefit to this spring-load action is a reduction in strain on the knee and hip joints. This results in less fatigue and reduced injury potential from stride impact.
